EXPLORATIONS – ABANDONMENTS

These are images of abandonments found here and there over the years. Included are: images of a vast  pickers’ yard full of autos from decades gone by; abandoned churches in Detroit; abandoned schools in Ontario, including one shot in the 1980s that I attended in the 1960s and 70s, and in Detroit and Flint, Michigan; rural ruins like the Barber Brothers Paper Mill and its associated historic dynamo, the historic Camp #30 ruins in Bowmanville, and the ghost town of Val-Jalbert in Quebec; and various Toronto urban ruins, including the R.L. Hearn generating station, Tower Automotive, the former Loblaws warehouse and the Wellington Destructor.
